Ozan Sayar is a seasoned strategy, transformation, and analytics executive focusing on technology companies with 12+ years of experience across the globe (Silicon Valley, New York, London, Istanbul and Dubai), with tenures across eBay, McKinsey, Facebook and Property Finder.
Lastly, Ozan has been the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer of Property Finder, the leading property portal in the Middle East that touches millions of consumers’ lives on a monthly basis. He has been leading the company’s strategic roadmap, as well as a full-fledged transformation of the company’s business model in the UAE from a pricing perspective. His current remit within the organization includes: Strategy & Transformation, Business Operation, Analytics, M&A and Corporate Development.
Before Property Finder, Ozan was the Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff for Facebook’s Middle East, Africa and Turkey region, where he helped shape company’s longer term strategy for the region, managed a portfolio of strategic projects and helped the region’s leadership team to bring a operational rhythm, excellence and structure to company’s operations in the region.
Ozan’s experience prior to Facebook included eBay and McKinsey. At McKinsey, he’s advised Fortune 500 companies in TMT sector in their strategy and transformation journeys. At eBay, he was the head of Analytics for eBay’s North America Electronics vertical (~$5bn business), helping shape critical business decisions through data-driven analyses.
Ozan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey
